Lifeline

15-01-21 This project was a collaboration with Mercedes Aartsen, Anita Suetens, Mark van Disseldorp and Koen van der Waal.

Lifeline is an animated short about a dystopian nightmare where humanity has become obsolete. The Lifeline chair keeps occupants happy and healthy, allowing them to stay seated indefinitely. Humanity locks itself away in a VR-world while the real one crumbles around then.

This project was part of an excercise in collaborative design at the HKU. I wrote large parts of the finalized script, and was responsible for gathering sound-effects and music. I also colouring/texturing the lineart provided by Mercedes and Mark.
